Travelling Middle Earth her entire life Y/n thinks she found a place to rest for a short while. That is until a letter from Rivendall calls her presence to attend a secret meeting involving the One Ring to Rule them all. Upon attending this meeting, she meets an old face. Legolas, the prince of Mirkwood. Also the elf that shot her with an arrow a while back. She vows the never forgive him, but the journey to Mordor brings out a new side in both elves. For better or for worse? Stay tuned. BONUS: The Hobbit movies will be put in here soon enough as a backstory (sort of)

Life has become mundane. Work, school, all the... adult stuff. You miss the worlds you disappear to as you read your favorite books- Tolkien. That is until one night you wake up in Rivendell. No clue how you got there, believing it is a vivid dream. When you realize it is real, what do you do?

"I wish the Ring had never come to me and lady (Y/n) never gone through such suffering. I wish none of this had happened." He said with great sadness as (Y/n) frowned at Frodo's own confession as she unknowingly listening to their conversation. She felt so much guilt having all these people look after her and believing she is doing nothing but slowing them all down. Steve, Aragorn, Legolas, Frodo, Thor, Tony, Natasha, Logan and everyone that had completely gone above and beyond to help in the quest to defeat Sauron. What was she compared to actual heroes of both Earth and Middle-earth? A nobody. Nothing more than dead weight that would be used as a pawn in Sauron's conquest for dominion over all worlds. "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not up for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." Gandalf added to comfort his hobbit friend, (Y/n) also finding relief in the old Wizard's words. (Y/n) was once told that she knew him once, before she lost her memory. God, she wished she could remember him if that were true. "There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the ring, in which case you also were meant to have it. Which will also give us this chance to aid lady (Y/n) and protect her." She nearly teared up after Gandalf mentioned her to Frodo. "And that is an encouraging thought."

This does not follow any of the books or films story line but does contain elements of them. Y/N is one of the princess's of Alqualonde her twin sister, Laeanna, being her polar opposite. While Y/N is calm, composed and trained in fighting and healing her sister is prone to tantarums and complains at the slightest speck of mud. Their family often travel to Mirkwood as they are friends with King Oropher and the two realms trade together. Thrandruil and Y/N meet and become good friends but then lose contact when an orc war starts and the two kingdoms have far more important things than two young elves with a budding friendship but the two are reunited a years later on the battle field.
