They didn't mean to launch. Not properly. Not with charts and countdowns and dignified speeches. They were just trying to rescue a sock. But the dryer had other plans. Now tethered to the mother Shio (ship) by laundry line and loyalty, the crew drifts between stars and snack crumbs, miscalculating their way toward Mars. Officer Lorry leads the loop-not with orders, but with offerings. She's the first to reach, the first to patch a leak, the first to whisper "We'll try again." Sebastian folds towels in defiance of protocol. Bord trusts socks more than science. Angel hums the Sprinkle Waltz to keep the fuel flowing. Little Girl sketches every misstep like it's a masterpiece. They sling around the sun. They land in vending-machine stations. They miscalculate. They sparkle. And through it all, the Shio (ship) spins-powered by mischief, emotional gravity, and the kind of love that loops back, no matter how far they drift. This is not a mission. It's a voyage. And so it begins with a sock, a leak, and a crew who offered first.
