Louella never fully recovered from the car accident. She had gone through rehabilitation programs and physical therapy after waking up from the coma she was in. However, the thing that reminds her most of the accident are the dreams that haunt her. She sleeps at night and wakes up in the morning with a new dream to interpret. Is it a figment of her imagination or is it a memory that she lived through before? Louella is torn with the facts inside her head and tries to do her best to understand the secrets that she uncovers. She asks her loved ones about these visions, but how will she know if her loved ones are telling the truth or telling her lies?

lainey rose collier was just a seventeen year old girl living in district twelve. growing up in district twelve was hard for some, and lainey knew that, she was lucky. she had grown up in the merchant class, her parents owned the clothing shop in the town square. she was the kind of girl that drew attention naturally, not because she was overwhelmingly beautiful, but because she had a naturally alluring light about her that couldn't be dimmed by the coal dust that seemed to constantly darken the air of district twelve. when the 50th annual hunger games roll around and each district is forced to reap two times the amount of tributes, lainey isn't particularly worried for herself, but more so for her friends. what happens when the reaping doesn't go as plan and lainey finds herself headed into the second quarter quell as a tribute of district twelve? haymitch abernathy had always had it harder than most. forced into becoming the man of the house at a young age and placed in the position of taking care of his mother and sid. he lived among the seam, working jobs for his mother and hattie, while trying to keep food on the table. he never really came off as approachable towards others, leaving with him with not many friends, other than lenore dove, of course, his best friend. when the reaping comes on his sixteenth birthday, he's of course worried for himself, but he's more worried for lenore dove. praying that her name isn't called, but when things go wrong and he's forced to be a tribute for the quarter quell, he finds himself drawn to a certain blonde haired girl that he'd never quite gotten the courage to talk to. will things change for him as he navigates his way through the arena? disclaimer: i do not have any claim to any of the hunger games characters or the plot of sunrise on the reaping, except for lainey of course, the rest of the credit goes to suzanne collins!
