What if Beth didn't die? What if Amy never existed? What if Jo went to Europe right after rejecting Laurie? What if Laurie decided that Beth was much better than any crush of his? What if- I am a fan of Little Women, but I am also a fan of what ifs. I am a fan of Beth March, but I am also a fan of strangling Amy Curtis March. This is just a Little Women AU, and I hope you enjoy. Profitez!

Eight Cousins, or The Aunt-Hill was published in 1875 by American novelist Louisa May Alcott. It is the story of Rose Campbell, a lonely and sickly girl who has been recently orphaned and must now reside with her maiden great aunts, the matriarchs of her wealthy Boston family. When Rose's guardian, Uncle Alec, returns from abroad, he takes over her care. Through his unorthodox theories about child-rearing, she becomes happier and healthier while finding her place in her family of seven boy cousins and numerous aunts and uncles. She also makes friends with Phebe, her aunts' young housemaid, whose cheerful attitude in the face of poverty helps Rose to understand and value her own good fortune. Cover by the lovely @FaithMurri.

Lisel May is your average 8th-grader. She isn't in any sort of relationship... (of course- she's only 14!) until she is. Using her favorite novel, "Little Women," as a guide, she dreams of being with Teddy but is constantly questioning if maybe just being friends would be best. She always falls back to one question leading her through this pivotal part of her 8th-grade year- what would Amy March do? This is a novel about coming out of your comfort zone and breaking the stereotypes about the bookworm, the introvert. This is a novel about being a teen... a novel about being happy with where you are at each moment of your life.

This is just a compilation of Jo and Laurie might-have-beens, and in here they meet at an earlier age and in a different setting than in a party when they were fifteen. I hope you like it! :)
