TheStoriesSheTold
The wind rolled in as the girl of sorrow looked through her window. She felt like a pack of wood ready to be burnt. Sorrow could never face reality again.
She stepped outside, as the first breath of fresh air was toxic. She couldn't breathe. The cold wind whistled through her nose, huffing out a sigh.
She was isolated. Away from everyone. But, she didn't care. She stepped down the steps, 1, 2, 3. She ran to the semetery, where a swing was waiting for her. Her broken chain on her left ankle didn't seem to bother her. She swung back and fourth, as a boy crept out of a dead tree.
"Who's there?" Sorrow questioned. She jumped off the swing. "It is me, Depression." The boy said. He came fully out. There was a chain on his right ankle ; just like her.
As their eyes met, she opened her mouth, "I am the fallen angel of happiness." she said slowly. "I am the fallen angel of joy." He said, right after her.
Come, come to my barn, where a swing awaits for the both of us, come come, let us grow up together, I want to be someone else, who's the actual angel of happiness. Her thoughts came to her head, as she grabbed his hand and together they want to the barn.
The cross in front of the barn showed she was not faking, she was not a demon child, but treated as one. She stood there, telling her story, "I was a regular child ; but my mother, too poor to pay her debt sold me to a dungeon, there, then, to be tortured. I have no tounge, and communicating is hard. We must live our lives for now until, he comes." As the boy and girl 10, they grew up 6 years later. Their so called "sadness" was becoming happiness.
"I have you a gift," he said, pulling out a small box. He pulled a necklace out, with a half of a heart. He pulled out the other one. "Because, together, we make a whole." But, their conversation ended. The "man" she was talking about had appeared.
