He is a very reserved man who rarely discusses himself or his emotions; however, he describes his experience in detail, explaining how he felt, what she did, and how she made him fall in love with her. He delves into introspection and memories to vent his feelings. While the man is a university student, Elena is trying to gain admission there. Both characters are 18 years old, which means they face similar challenges related to life, love, and insecurities. Throughout this story, the man recalls every moment he shared with Elena for reflection and understanding. He also uses music, anecdotes, and metaphors in his narrative because he struggles to comprehend his own emotions.
