This is a collection of some Poems, prose, short stories, lines I wrote in the past few months and years about love, friends, life, faith, random thoughts and memories. Like some of the writers, I WAS also in love with a memory, an echo from another time and place. I write down, or type down everything that comes to my mind. "There are things better left unsaid" --Nicky have been living on this kind of paradigm for quite sometime now. She dodge confrontations like a pro. "What I do not know won't hurt me", she would always say. She rather run than ask questions. Rather walk away than hear the answers she doubt she can handle. ~~~ "What you see is what you get." --Theo, a guy full of surprises and excitement. Hates monotony and dullness in life. Consistency is something that doesn't get well with him. He prepares face front honesty and dislikes shady two-faced people. "I don't like holding back and regretting it in the end", he would always say. He rather be hurt once and all than prolong the agony. But what happens if their opposite world collides? Both with excess baggage they try to live with. Will she be brave enough to finally ask the questions she wanted to ask? Will he be strong enough to commit again with consistency? Will the magic of true love help them fix broken strings in their lives?

I don't understand how people abandon their own parents when they grow old. I think I will never be able to part ways with my parents. How can one forget the struggles parents' face for their children, from food to education and clothing and above all unconditional love? I have established my café, not only on my own but with my family's support. I owe my family and I take every chance to tell them how much I love them. And nothing is above them, for me the most important is my family. . I can't relate to people when they want leaves for family emergencies, maybe because I don't have one. I don't know how it feels when after a tiring day at work you get greeted with home-made food, or how it feels to get a proud look on one's parents' face after achieving a milestone. But I know how it feels to live in the freedom of your own company, no one to interfere your decisions and invade your space. You are your own boss. . Two people who are so different yet so similar in some ways. What will happen when their paths cross in the most unexpected way? Will they help each other discover themselves or will lead each other away from their desired paths? Where will Chhavi and Aarav's decisions lead them? This is just a short poem that came to me and I feel very deeply for it. I have subsequently added others that come to me on occasion that strike a chord deep within me. I cant think of a name for this piece

This story is set in 1948, three years after World War II ended. It was a time where people reformed their lives: they began to hope again, live life in more fulfilling ways, but most importantly they relearned how to love. Finding love and keeping it was so much easier to do in society now that the horrors of war were over. As love flourishes in a time where people long for it, there shouldn't be any problems. But what if the one you want doesn't love you? Or what if the one that was made for you is not the one you love? If fate was so unkind and forced you to choose, who will it be?
