What happens when a god falls in love with a mortal? They cannot be together, the god is smart enough to know that. So he sends a piece of his mind, creating a human version of himself to walk with the mortals, so he may love the mortal through another's eyes. But then what happens when God sends the worst parts of himself to earth? That man is him, but he will never be that man. Something the mortal is yet to accept, for some reason he sees the version of himself in him, though two different people, almost akin to twins. The mortal cannot see that, and so he projects the love he has for the alter onto the god, however once the god is with him, he cannot have enough.
