This is the story of a man and a woman. They were deeply in love and wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. When she looked into his eyes she knew she was safe and when he looked into hers he knew he was loved. They would hold each other under the moonlight in the mountains and ... just stare they were so in awe of each other and finding that someone could feel this way about you, a soft rouge sang across her rosy cheeks and North's bright pink lip gloss that stained Beck's cheek brightly gleaned from the moonlight. That rush from holding hands and feeling that love flicker in each other's eyes. As he stared in her soft wide eyes enamored by him and then he knew she was the one. He pulled back her hair and whispered in her ear with the gentlest voice and asked "Will you marry me?". Her eyes widened in shock, she clasped her hands around her mouth, and burst with tears as she jumped into his arms. "Yes.", she whimpered. That was amazing, I couldn't have written it better if I experienced it myself, but wait I think I did. My name is North and his name is Beck. I love him dearly. He means so mu well did. my darkness, the beat to my heart, my only reason for joy. He was my first love. That first love is something you never forget. It strikes you with a tidal wave of emotions like passion and heartbreak that sticks with you for what feels like forever. He was the only person who ever made me feel loved! My life hasn't always been as great as it is now, ... or should I say was. The same man who gave me everything led to me losing it all. This is the story of how I found the love of my life. But things are changing. I think it may be time to move on...

I just want to feel this fate. To be happy and loving. To show that I'm not bluffing. To be something instead of nothing. To know what lust is. To know what trust is. For somebody to have my side. So many times I have cried. They said life should be hell of a ride. Your feelings change every time a tide hits the shore. They'll hurt your heart, even rip out the core. It's frantic that in life you can be faithful. Most people aren't even grateful. Nobody cares for one of another, they're all just really hateful. I can't handle no more, this pain is more than a plate full. Although, I'm thankful for my creator, my family and my friends. For every bad, there's a ton of good. I can't help myself even if I could. I want to end things but I don't think I should. Sounds like I'm giving up, but I'm hurting and I been hanging on for too long, it's difficult. I can't hang on like people think I can. Don't get me wrong,I'm not weak. I'm just tired of being strong. -Callista Paul

Step into the ethereal world of "A Ghost's Lackadaisical Lamentation," an open-ended short story that delves into the afterlife through the eyes of a ghost witnessing his own funeral. In this emotionally charged tale, grief, pain, and romance intertwine, leaving readers questioning the very meaning of life. If you enjoyed Adam Silvera's heart-wrenching "They Both Die At The End" and yearned for more closure in Madeline Miller's epic "The Song Of Achilles," this queer romance and psychological fiction short story will captivate your heart. However, a word of caution-this poignant narrative touches on sensitive themes, including suicide, self-harm, and addiction. But within these depths of darkness lies a tale of love, loss, and forgiveness, leaving readers in tears and seeking solace in the intricate emotions of the characters. As you immerse yourself in the haunting melodies of "Fading Echoes," you'll find a bittersweet dance of memories and regrets. And should this journey resonate with you, be prepared for more as the story's author plans a sequel, offering insight into "The Man's" perspective. A continuation that will unveil the secrets behind the main character's death, the names of all the characters involved, and a complete version of the haunting song that echoes throughout the narrative. Join us in this captivating short story, a testament to the complexities of love, the fragility of life, and the haunting echoes that linger in the afterlife.

There wasn't a moment where I felt an earnest desire to tell this boy how much I loved him. Yet, every quiet time we spent together as my heart weighed heavy on my chest, I couldn't muster the courage to let him know. I did not want to scare him away, I did not want him to leave me. Instead, I remained silent with this feelings in my heart as he carried on to love someone else.
