The night he died, the sky wept with her.
And when lightning struck, time broke.
One moment, Yuna was running through the rain; clutching his old PSP, praying she could make it to him before it was too late. The next, she was seventeen again. Standing in her old classroom. His voice still in her ears. His name still burning in her chest.
Kenma Kozume, the boy who once saved her without realizing it, the man who never learned how to save himself. He's alive again. Quiet. Withdrawn. So heartbreakingly unaware of the storm that waits ahead.
Yuna swears she'll change his fate, even if it means losing herself in the process. Because if the world is cruel enough to take him once, she'll tear it apart before it takes him again.

Author's Note:
Kenma Kozume has always been my favorite character; quiet, complex, and somehow so real. I've tried to write for him before but never finished until When the Game Restarts.
This story is heavily inspired by Lovely Runner but written from my heart. It isn't meant to be taken too seriously, just felt deeply. ♡
