16+ ~ "Lovely" Vampire AU ~ "In the name of God, I take you to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse. . .in sickness and in health. . .until parted by death." Newlyweds Lovely Fortun and Monkey D. Luffy were just about to make room in their home for children when a gang of vampires terrorize their village, taking Luffy captive and killing him in the process. This leaves a grieving Lovely to join a secret underground division of vampire hunters to avenge her late husband. Her main goal? To kill the vampires responsible for his death, whoever they may be. Two years later, Lovely discovers an injured bat after a raid, thinking it may have been mistaken as a vampire as they can turn into bats. Things begin to take an unexpected turn when she learns that the injured bat is Luffy. He, himself, has become the creature she had sworn to kill for him. He was a part of the raid and was trying to escape with the same vampires that killed him years ago. Soon, a new plan unravels that the vampires are returning to retrieve Luffy and will stop at nothing to get him back into their clutches, even if it means killing innocent villagers. The hunters know about this plan, but not that it's about Luffy. 16+ ~ Lady Lovely Fortun is an heir to the underwater kingdom Atlantis. She wants nothing more than to go to the surface and meet a few humans, but she finds that it cannot be possible since it is forbidden to break through the surface unless you were a guardian sent by the ruler of Atlantis, Lady Baroque Silk. It's also forbidden to meet a human for fear of becoming its mate. Any of these would result in exile...or something worse. One night, Lovely witnesses her mother mysteriously departing Atlantis alone. Worried something would happen to her on her journey, Lovely attempts to follow her mother only to be pulled to the surface by pirates. Her captivity is short-lived when a crew of 9 breaks her out of the brig. They are none other than the Straw Hats. As they change course to search for Lovely's mother, Lovely grows close with the crew, especially their captain in particular.
