I really enjoy writing and I have been writing poems for a while, I'm finally gaining the confidence to share them, some are extremely personal to me and discuss some topics that may make people uncomfortable so please check the tws. Most of them are genuine, and a few are dramatized and/ or are made up completely. It's up to the reader to figure out which are which. That's the beauty of interpretation. The ones that use quotes or I said that whoever said a certain thing are one hundred percent real, I could provide screenshots to prove them. Hi! This is just a random thing, where I am going to put poems I write. Some (cough, most, cough) are going to have inspiration drawn from different books I have read, I'll give credit for any inspiration in the chapters. So yeah! This may not be updated very regularly, because I don't often write poetry, (cough, I never do, cough,) but I'll put any poem that I do write, (no matter how terrible,) in this! After dwelling on rhymes, I had a little courage to move onto free verse. Not really exceptional, but I do like to think they're decent? English is not my first language. If you can give me feedbacks or suggestions on how to improve my writing, I'd be more than happy to know.

Itoshii: A Tanka Collection began with an old Japanese word, "itoshii", meaning "beloved" or "darling." From that, grew a collection of tanka poems in its many forms - devotion, heartbreak, the slow return to yourself, and the realities. Moreover, tanka poetry is spare by nature. Five lines, and a handful of syllables. Therefore, that restraint felt right within this subject, since love rarely announces itself loudly.

A poetry book for the people whose love has never been easy, and always comes with a price. This book is about holding on to something beautiful even when it hurts. It follows the tension between devotion, sacrifice and the hope that love can still survive the cost. (This is some of the poetry I've written in the duration of my current relationship)

This poetry book describes the ebbs and flows of love and heartbreak; the two need each other to coexist. The poems, although inspired by lovers, are really just about me. Me going through ego, facing rejection, dealing with not being picked or prioritized, and still learning to be loving to myself the same. Always want a bitch I can't have.
