Gina B. Reyes is a cheerful, passionate, and warm-hearted young woman who grew up in Bohol. Her family works as tour guides for visitors who come to see the beautiful Chocolate Hills, and even at a young age, Gina helped them whenever she could. She worked hard alongside her parents, saving money little by little with one clear dream-to study at a better college and build a brighter future.
Through dedication, perseverance, and the support of her family, Gina finally reaches the right age and saves just enough for herself. Her efforts pay off when she earns a scholarship at the University of the Philippines Diliman. With a hopeful heart and a mix of excitement and fear, she leaves her hometown and moves to Manila to begin a new chapter of her life.
But adjusting to city life is far from easy. Everything feels unfamiliar-the fast pace, the people, and the environment, all so different from the quiet warmth of Bohol. Just when Gina begins to believe that everything will slowly fall into place, she meets someone who unexpectedly turns her world upside down.
He appears out of nowhere-approaching her without reason, bothering her constantly, and always finding a way to be near. His actions confuse and frustrate her, yet there is something about him that feels strangely familiar, as if he has always been a part of her life. The more she tries to avoid him, the more questions begin to grow in her mind.
Who is he really?
Why does he feel so close, yet so distant?
And why does the name Joseph Cliffton V. Adamson echo in her heart like a memory she cannot remember?
