Hey guys! I'm Missy, and this is my very first Jikook story. The inspiration for this piece comes from a story I read a long time ago-one that left a deep impact on me and stayed in my heart ever since. Now, I'm retelling that inspiration in my own way, through Jikook. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I've enjoyed bringing it to life.

-For three years, Ivy May has been hopelessly in love with a boy who has no clue she exists in any meaningful way. And honestly? She can't blame him. Ninth grade is basically one giant rom-com for everyone but her. Her friends jump from relationship to relationship like it's an Olympic sport, the hallways are filled with couples holding hands like it's their full-time job, and Ivy... Ivy is just there. Watching. Smiling. Giving advice. Because Ivy May is the therapist's friend. The one everyone vents to, cries to, trusts. Everyone except herself. She's never had a relationship. Not even close. Partly because she's picky... but mostly because she's too busy battling her own invisible storms: chronic illness flare-ups that keep her home for days, mental health dips she hides behind jokes, and a body that seems determined to slow her down while the world keeps rushing past. So she watches her friends fall in love, fall apart, and fall again, while she falls... asleep. A lot. Usually under a pile of blankets. But then there's Liam Reyes, the boy she's quietly adored for years. The boy whose laugh she could recognize anywhere. The boy who suddenly starts looking at her like he's seeing more than the quiet girl who's always missing from group photos. Ivy doesn't know what terrifies her more. The idea that someone might finally like her back... Or the idea that she might actually deserve it.

Ngunit ang pag-respeto sa iba ang siyang magiging susi upang abot kamay nating masilip ang sa kabilang banda ng kwento. Hindi naman siguro masama na subukan nating bigyan ng puwang ang mga pagbabagong ito sa ating utak, kahit hindi na lang sa puso ay sapat na iyon para magkaroon ng pagkakaintindihan sa mundo. Ito ay tungkol sa pinaka masarap na nararamdaman ng bawat tao, ang PAG-IBIG. Pagmamahal na ating nakukuha sa mga kaibigan, pagmamahal na ibinibigay ng ating mga magulang, at pagmamahal na handa mong ilaan para sa natatanging taong itinitibok ng iyong puso. Ngunit, sa bawat relasyon ay dumaraan din naman sa pagkakataong hindi maganda o landas na malubak, at ito tiyak na susubok ngunit sadyang magpapatatag sa mga taong nagmamahalan. Sa kabila ng wagas na pag-iibigan ay nariyan ang mga sakripisyong hindi matatawaran, kaya hindi lang puso ang dapat mong ihanda, ngunit pati na rin ang iyong isipan. Ang istoryang ito ay pinangungunahan ng dalawang lalaking karakter na sina Paolo at Grey, parehong teenagers na nakahanap ng tunay na pag-ibig sa bawat isa. Ilalahad dito kung paanong sila ay magkakagustuhan, sa kabila ng pagiging isang tuwid na lalaki ng isa sa kanila.
