You were once my Philosophy teacher, the one who taught me different philosophical views in life, sir.
During our class:
Rd/t/t: CC, why do you keep staring at me-ah no, why do you keep zoning out? Is something wrong? Is something bothering you?
CC: No, sir. I was just so focused on our topic that I seemed to have zoned out.
Rd/t/t: Ah, okay. CC, please stand. I'd like to ask you something.
She stood up.
Rd/t/t: What is the difference between Partial Perspective and Holistic Perspective?
She smiled confidently and answered the question directly without losing eye contact with him.
CC: Well, sir, the difference between Partial and Holistic Perspective is actually not as hard as everybody might think. Partial Perspective means a person views an event, situation, or another person in a very limited way-in short, it's narrow-mindedness. Meanwhile, Holistic Perspective means a person views situations, people, and events from a wide range of viewpoints.
Rd/t/t: Very good! Class, try to study as well. It feels like she's the only one interested in our topic, okay? It's a deal?
The class agreed, and those who knew why CC was so interested in the topic looked at each other and smiled with a little laugh.
After class, CC waited at the waiting shed so she could say goodbye to her teacher when she saw him.
When he arrived...
CC: Goodbye, sir! (waving and smiling widely)
Rd/t/t: Goodbye, CC! (He pressed his motorcycle brake so hard that he almost fell.) Do you want to ride with me?
CC: No, thanks, sir. I already told the tricycle driver to pass by the school. I'll take the back seat because it's comforting there, hahaha.
Rd/t/t: Ah, okay. I'm heading home. See you!
CC: See you, sir!
CC wore a frown as she watched him ride home. She whispered to herself:
What if I said I didn't have anyone to ride with? What if I told him to take care because I'd never forgive myself if he died without me being able to confess my feelings? What if I told him that I love him so much?
