Your brightness, your brilliance, drew me in. Your shine, your charm, enchanted me. Excitement trembled and a thought of love flickered. Only to die prematurely. Unexplored and undervalued. You stole my light and left me in the darkness. Like a thief in the night. Like a lion to a lambs throat. With swiftness. Innocence you stole from me. Blackness began to enveloped my world. Creeping in with delicate paws at first, then rushing in, an unexpected stampede. I pause to breath. Gasp for air. A pause in time. An entire second to reflect upon to flash of a memory. As I emerge, a Red unfaltering glow permeates the very existence of my being. Never to be touched by unholy hands again. My beauty only to be shared with those worthy and willing to embrace me.
