Haru Asano grew up in a family-run yakiniku shop, learning the art of cooking and the joy of serving happy customers. But as he got older, the pressure to take over the business became overwhelming. After his father fell ill, Haru ran the shop alone, working long hours until the joy he once had for cooking was drained away.
One night, exhausted, Haru collapsed behind the counter of his shop, as he his vision faded, he wished for a second chance-a life where he could cook for the love of it, not just to survive.
When he opened his eyes again, he wasn't in his family's shop. He wasn't even in Japan.
Summoned as one of several "heroes" meant to save a kingdom, Haru quickly realized the spell had malfunctioned, scattering the heroes across the land. Now stranded in an unfamiliar world, Haru is granted a set of skills entirely related to cooking.
Instead of training with knights or setting off on a grand quest, Haru makes a bold choice-he's opening a food cart.
With buffs that enhance his strength, speed, and stamina, Haru begins his journey as a wandering chef, spreading joy through his dishes. As rumors of a mysterious chef whose meals grant power spread, the kingdom still searches for their missing heroes. And worse yet, the demons threatening war have taken notice-and they're hungry.
Can Haru escape his destiny, or will he find himself at the center of a battle where the fate of the world may just rest... on what's for dinner?
