This fic (at first) follows the basic storyline of Demon Slayer, starting with chapter 106 of the manga, found in volume 12 (weird place to start, I know, but just bare with me). I've added a few characters, removed a few characters, and drastically altered something. I've also spared the lives of a few characters that were killed off in the original, killed a few characters whose lives were spared in the original, and changed a few details about the franchise. These things gradually change the story to divert from the original story more and more to the point that the story becomes virtually unrecognizable and also extends far past what was the ending in the original. I've written introductions before the chapters of the story to go into more detail about what you should know before reading this. Cover images for chapters do not belong to me- they are either from Demon Slayer directly or art by someone else.

The story of Felix and Matheas follows the forbidden fruit of a man so sweet but unattainable, and a secret that becomes exposed that ruins it all. The story of love unfolds as Felix encounters a traveler, who with a kind heart takes him in. The traveler, who becomes a close friend and silent protector of Felix helps to improve his family's situation. Matheas is a mystery to Felix, as is the suspicious absence of His Royal Highness, King Matheas who had disappeared and fled London, leaving his brother, Prince Henry to become the ruler of Britain. The two travel to learn more of the strange disappearance, until a dire secret is revealed which changes everything.
