This narrative chronicle follows the lives of Abrogail and Isabella Thrune, two sisters bound by a metaphysical "soul tie" within the diabolical empire of Cheliax in the *Pathfinder* universe. The story is a tragedy of survival, where the sisters attempt to navigate the lethal political landscape of their family's rule while dealing with the traumatic legacy imposed upon them by the Church of Asmodeus. Thanks to their parents, the sisters are physically and magically tethered; their life forces are linked. This creates a high-stakes dynamic where they must rely on each other to survive, but it also means that the injury or death of one spells the demise of the other. Abrogail Thrune, the Sovereign and older sister, is destined to sit upon the Obsidian Throne, Abrogail matures into a ruthless, calculating queen. Her cruelty is a survival mechanism, driven by the need to secure the throne and protect her sister from both external enemies and internal threats. Isabella Thrune, the Vanguard/Asset and younger sister, is born with a rare "Elemental-Infused (Cold)" trait, Isabella is treated as a "broken" asset by the church. Subjected to horrific ritualistic abuse and imprisonment as a child, she develops a cold, hyper-analytical personality. She channels her trauma into mastering *Ki* and the martial arts of the Godclaw to become an unyielding weapon. Despite their different roles, they share a secret, unspoken mission: to liberate their family and nation from the absolute, soul-consuming grip of Hell. The sisters grow up in the shadow of King Infrexes' paranoia. Isabella is repeatedly violated and "audited" by the Church of Asmodeus in the "Vault of the Silenced," leading her to suppress all emotion and adopt a rigid, mechanical worldview to endure the pain. As Abrogail reaches maturity and ascends to the throne, she begins to dismantle the power structures that have abused them. Her hatred for the Church grows as she realizes the depth of what they did to Isabella.
