Since the games began 74 Years ago y/n's family has suffered because of it. The Ryder family was a family of tributes. On the year a female from the Ryder family would turn 18 they would get reaped. The Ryder family wasn't just good for the games. Just when you would think their legacy was over there was always another baby girl destined to die. This was the case for y/n Abernathy. I don't own any of the characters that appear in the hunger games novels I only own y/n Abernathy. The character arcs are different than the ones in the hunger games books so events will happen differently than they do in the books.
