in every love song, you might think of one person. as for ji minsi- the hopeless romantic, the queen of being delusional- she thought every love song she heard was always meant for her lee juyeon- the boy of her dreams since she was six years old. her next door neighbor, the pain in the ass- kim sunwoo. as those two have argued since they've known each other, she did not expect to come into agreements with him. it started when juyeon came back into the neighborhood and became close friends with sunwoo all over again, immediately as if he never left. minsi had to come up with something fast to gain juyeon's attention as she felt like she had lost him. she wanted a chance with him. in order to get with juyeon, she realized she needed sunwoo. he was the way she was going to get him. see, kim sunwoo has never been boyfriend material. the boy was the one who always made her cry when he said how her cat was closer to death each day. he put a dead bird into her barbie house as a joke, although, it totally failed when the girl snitched on him. up to this day, the two even argue over a parking spot. their interactions were always thrown with insults and jokes. there was no way kim sunwoo could ever stand a chance with ji minsi. however, throughout the mission in which sunwoo was helping minsi with, the two had definitely gotten much closer. within time passing, ji minsi comes to a turn in realization that not all love songs were going to be dedicated to lee juyeon. as the unexpected happens, her mind slowly gets filled with thoughts of kim sunwoo and how the lyrics of a love song were all going to be about him. - inspired by "better than the movies" by lynn painter!! please read her book , it's the cutest ever! i used ideas to kinda write this with my own characters & ofc keeping it as a sunwoo fic. hope u enjoy! there are similarities in the plot because of how much i loved it when reading "better than the movies" :)
