Seymour Krelborn, a newsie in Manhattan, is crushing over a gorgeous Bowery Beauty, Audrey Fulquard. He works hard everyday, daydreaming about Audrey and how he could become rich to impress her. His dream slowly starts to come true when he finds an unusual plant, and everyone is paying to see it.
