SPOILERS!! this will contain spoilers so unless you don't mind please don't read. I honestly just couldn't find any Lucanis fanfiction to I decided to write one. I was also disappointed from the lack of Spite interaction. this takes place while Rook is in the fade. I used my own Rook as placement. This is a one shot.

Following a lot of the Dragon Age game series storyline by Bioware but with a twist... A young Dalish girl's clan is slaughtered by Tevinter mages but they take the girl as a slave and burns Lyrium into her skin. (Yes, like a certain angsty porcupine we know.) Before the girl is taken to Tevinter she over powers the mages with her new abilities and is found by a group of Templars. Not knowing what to do with the girl they take her back to the Ferelden Circle of Magi where she later on meets the Grey Warden... She's bi so she'll blush at anyone who flirts with her, like most of Dragon Age characters. Her romance won't happen until Veilguard. I originally started writing this to help get Dragon Age out of my system but it's starting to make my love for it grow stronger and I wish to share it with others. I'm open to any lore corrections. I unfortunately don't have any of the books so some of the lore may be lost to me but I'll try my best with the knowledge I've gained from the games, series and movie. I hope you dear readers enjoy it and let's keep this a positive and save space to share our passions. NO BOTS!

Enemies by nature, bound by something far darker than choice. In a world of treachery and ancient powers, they'll have to bleed or burn together. It's a Dragon Age The Veilguard Fanfiction, because I hated blant Rook, the unrealised potential and the Lucanis romance left me dissaponted. The story follows the game storyline though. PS - I did enjoy playing the game though.

'Sunny' was as much a mystery as everything else was. She was like a ghost to everyone, expect a certain person that had caught her eye. Lucanis's romance gave us nothing so I'm giving us what we need.

This fic is an expansion of the end of the Zara fight and the bit with Illario, plus what felt like a missing scene after getting Lucanis back to his room at the lighthouse. Rook became a Crow as a lonesome young teen, and immediately befriended two charming boys. Illario was always a good friend, but the one always at her side was Lucanis. The pair became inseparable. Now, reunited to save the world, Lucanis is injured in a fight and Rook is desperate to help her friend, and begin to piece together what happened to him. Rook/Emmrich romance. Lucanis as best friend (though if you ignore the Emmrich parts you can pretend this is part of the Luc romance)
