In this story Riley Matthews and the gang are 15 years old. Life in middle school isn't the same as their second year of high school. Riley and Lucas still have their thing, but don't want to admit it.

Riley Matthews and Maya Heart were on the subway when there was a loud noise and, the subway caught on fire. But, at the high school Mr.Matthews was worried cause both Maya and Riley didn't show up to school yet and, he then asked both Farkle and Lucas if they heard from them but, nobody did until Mr.Matthews got a notification on his phone saying there was a subway accident which made him even more worried.
