Lucasmaya Stories

Third book in the Project trilogy. In the beginning, Maya and Lucas were assigned to work on a project together. They realized their feelings for each other, but Riley was in the way. Eventually, Riley moved on and Maya and Lucas had a relationship. They lived normal teenage lives- arguing, forgiving, loving - until Lucas kills someone. Maya and Lucas run away. They eventually get caught. Maya goes home with Riley, and Lucas is sent to New York then straight to jail. Now, it's been years since Lucas was arrested. Lucas gets out of jail just in time to find out that Maya's moved on. What will happen?

"Walk away." Said Lucas, not even daring to look at Maya. "I can't, and I won't." Said a tearful, Maya. - From frenemies to something much more, Maya and Lucas don't have it easy for themselves. Especially with people constantly getting in the way, can they stick together? Or will one of them end up walking away?

Maya Hart is your average 17 year old girl. She loud, wild, unpredictable, funny, charming, flirty and rebellious. But her world comes crumbling down when her mother is found dead on the streets. Now the people that killed her mother are after her. Scared and alone, Maya is sent to the house of a stranger. There she meets 18 year old Lucas Friar. He is now her protector. He swears he will protect her life, but can he protect more..like her heart?

Taking place after season 3 of GMW, the group prepares to become high school seniors. A summer vacation in Texas. Life is changing. The characters are changing. The relationships are evolving.

Maya has liked Lucas Friar since she met him and they dated for like five seconds on the subway. So has her best friend Riley Matthews, and this puts them in this super crazy love triangle that last for years. That is until Maya gets tired of it and claims she's over Lucas. But that was years ago. Maya is twenty now. When she goes back to New York to see her old friends, Lucas is there and some old feeling come back. What could possibly go wrong? Her trembling hand somehow grabs the thin piece of paper and somehow unfolds it and it feels like forever before she finally forces her eyes up to the top of the letter.
