"A mysterious man clad in a black fedora and trench coat on the sidewalk approaches me.
'Excuse me,' the man says to me. I ground my foot onto the pavement to stop my board, and pull my headphones down to my neck, 'do you have the time?'
'Oh yeah, it's-' I pull up my sleeve to look down at my watch, my brows furrowing at the still hands. I tap on it which does nothing. Stupid thing. 'Sorry, my watch seems to be messed up, but it should be around 11pm, sir.'
I look up at the faceless man, his fedora casting a shadow over his face except for his eye glinting in the moonlight, an eye holding unknown intentions. The stranger looks down at me-a stranger so strange that an instant chill crawls down my spine.
'Not a problem. Thank you,' he says before he walks away into the shadows."
