After the family became vampires, they ran from Mikael. They stopped in Southern France where they encounter Lucien Castle, who helps the siblings blend in. Not only did he help them, he also fell in love with Juliette. After Hayley contacted Juliette about being in New Orleans, Juliette returns to the city she used to call home. Now, Juliette reunites with Lucien as he arrives in New Orleans. The two reconnect after being apart for over a thousand years and fall in love.
