Princess Cassandra of Troy was cursed by the god Apollo for turning down his advances. In an effort to protect the women in her fathers employ from soldiers with similar intentions, she alters their dreams into nightmares. But once the King of Dreams finds out, they form an unlikely friendship. (This is loosely based on the Greek myths of Cassandra of Troy, but will eventually bring the characters into the modern era)

Division of the Endless. The youngest of her older 7 siblings. Created as an afterthought to help mortals tell time and age. She finds herself regretting her search for her captured brother, Dream of the Endless when she herself gets captured by the same dillusional, power-taking man that took Dream from his world. also on ao3

It's year 1866, England. It has already been 10 years since the Crimean War and 34 years since the reform law was issued. Women are treated as chattels, cannot vote, and their earnings, as well as dowry, belong to their husbands. Queen Victoria rules The United Kingdom (of course) and the buildings are built in Neo-Gothic style. Somwhere in the countryside, near the cows, fields, and beautiful sunsets, is the village where this story takes place.

Yes, Father Time and Mother Night were there, but also someone else. Known to the Greeks as Talos, to others the Writer, or even the First Writer, giver of purpose to everything that breathed and sometimes to things that did not. For the sake of many, it would be easier to call this being simply Purpose, with whom Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams, came into close connection at the beginning of his reign, for men tend to ponder their purpose in their dreams. In front of each other, they can allow themselves to be open, and most of their secrets shared. Soon the two of the most potent creations started to depend on each other's friendship and eventually, Morpheus caught feelings he shouldn't have. This is his story through Talos' eyes. I could feel his breathing on my lips, his wild hair falling over my brow, tremors shaking his bones, signalling his desire to get as close as he could, but he held back. I told him to do so. "You wrote it so?" He breathed into my mouth. "I did."'

A dream x hob story. Dream has loved Hob for centuries and in 1889 when Hob called them friend's Dream felt hurt and confused about his feelings. now in present time Dream Mets Hob at the new inn with hope to get his "friend" to fancy him back. (There are song references in the chapters so you can try and find them if you'd like.) I HAVEN'T READ THE COMICS SO THIS IS STRICTLY BASED ON THE NETFLIX SHOW!!!

The events continue to occur and one thing always remains the same, the mysterious man that nobody else seems to see. Now, at the age of 22, Lucienne is finally given some answers to her life long questions as the man begins to appear more frequently. But the question still remains... Why can't anyone else see him?

Based on a comment I saw under a post on TikTok (https://vm.tiktok.com/ZNdwWsp9T/) that asked for a fix-it fic, so here it is! I have only watched the show and therefore know nothing about the comics. You have been warned. (It goes without saying that the universe and characters are not my own; I guess you know the drill.) "Morpheus stopped himself from taking his sister's hand at the very last second. It was a sudden and significant shift in his realm that had stopped him. A great foe had been defeated. He immediately assumed that the fate of the mortal woman who had invaded his realm had been sealed, but his mind could not pinpoint who had managed to take her down." In which Morpheus is saved by those closest to him moments before he gives up on his existence.

In a world far out of reach, tucked away in the recesses of the unconscious mind, is a being of unfathomable importance. Someone so essential to the fabric of existence that one may question their own. He exists only to serve and spur the minds of man. But, how can one do that when man is the one to betray him? He falls back in his seat, spreading his right arm over the back of the booth ."Know what else I'm just saying?" You grin, "what?" He raises his left hand, finger swiping at your food before he flicks your nose with it, smearing it in white. "You should eat your ice cream before it melts." "Grandad!" You giggle, turning away from his hand, palming your nose to wipe away the ice cream." He grins back at you, eyes shifting from your face to your food as he grabs his spoon, "or maybe I'll have to eat it first," You quickly grab the bowl, hoisting it away from him, hastily adding a "no, I got it!" as he moves to tuck into his own bowl.

Gale has always been able to manipulate her dreams at will until a recent dream landed her in The Dreaming. On a mission to find out more about why she's able to change dreams at will, as well as her parents' mysterious deaths when she was a teenager, she looks to befriend and work with Morpheus in order to do so. However, as she gets to know Morpheus, the world she knows today begins to flip upside down. Who she is, where she comes from, and circumstances surrounding her parents death cause destruction in worlds beyond The Dreaming and the living. ---- Will shift to M Rating Set in the Netflix adaptation of The Sandman. Dreams and nightmares alike have lost their home, and dreamers in the waking world suffer the consequences. However, a select few have gotten their dreams back, some even receiving them in the waking world. An air of mystery lingers around Y/N, and a recurring nightmare spanning decades might have just uncovered it. While the answer may not be enough to help all the dreamers, it might have just saved the most important one of them all.
