When she was in her fifth year, Lucius Malfoy met a first year boy, Severus Snape. He was mostly bullied by a lot of students, but the people who would bully him most of the time is a group of four boys that is at the same years as him. Their names were James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin and her own cousin, Sirius Black. All four boys were sorted into Gryffindor, and she had seem to break her family rules most of the time, since she was very fond of them. The reason why she would break the rules of her family for this four group of young boys were because of this one boy, Remus Lupin. She always find him very interesting, in fact through the course of time they were starting to get closer and she was also getting closer to her cousin (even though she was forbidden to be with him or talk to him). Everyone was already shocked about Sirius Black being sorted into Gryffindor and breaking his family's rules, but everyone was even more shocked to know that Narcissa Black was also associating with him and his friends.
