So uh,, hi y'all. Artist here. I know I left you all without any sort of chapter for months, but my writer's block hasn't gone away in the slightest. On top of that, I'm not really into most of my old interests (DSMP, Black Clover, MHA, etc.) any more,, so I'm going to be discontinuing this for the foreseeable future- Sorry about that everyone- As for this book in particular, I'm going to *attempt* to finish it, but I don't have any guarantees that I actually will. But their squad notices a spark between them long before the two realise it's mutual, and decide that the best way to get them together is through a five week long bet. Chapters will be fairly long, so updates are definitely going to be a bit slow (correction, really slow) Okay, here's a thing: My original plan had been to make 35-something chapters, but I do *not* have the endless writing abilities that people like dsmp_ken have. I'm currently debating how many chapters I want this to have, but I do know that I want at least 1 chapter per Black Bulls member, plus maybe a few extra chapters (perhaps an Asta/Yuno special?), and definitely a Christmas chapter. However many chapters that will be will depend on my motivation. Luck's body pressed against his like this, their limbs tangled with each other's, and his rough, calloused hand holding a smaller, slender one. It's just like how things always are between them. It's just like Luck barreling into his room, shocking him out of his slumber. It's just like Luck toying with an empty pudding container, then running away from incoming fireballs. It's just like Luck running without looking back, with full trust in him being able to keep up. Magna should've known, really. It all comes naturally, like two halves of one whole. It all comes effortlessly, like mana to a mage and like static sparks to flickering embers. It all comes as easy as breathing, the way his heart beats steadily for this boy in his arms that took his hand so earnestly and hasn't let go ever since. Magna is hopelessly in love with his best friend, but he'll never tell him that. Or: The five times Magna hides something from Luck and the one time he doesn't.
