Luke Ryder is a con, a criminal, and a poor excuse for the stereotypical bad boy girls often mistake him for. Life is going as best as it can until Ryder crosses his little town's notorious gang and ends up in hot water with the cops. Grayson West is an artist, or so she believes. But when she becomes desperate to make her voice heard, she runs into serious trouble with the law. Unfortunately for her, Grayson's father is the new head detective in town. When the two meet at the police station, they both couldn't care less about the other until they are brought together by their illegal hobbies and a limiting secret they both share. This story is a creative writing assignment I have been working on. The purpose was to take a random song and write a story based on the lyrics. The song shuffle came up with was "the lucky ones" by Lana Del Rey. Luckily, one of my favorites ;)
