Lucy finds a job that would be able to pay her rent and everyone in the team. They all agree to go, but are met by an evil mage. The mage forces Natsu to chose between Lisanna and Lucy. He chooses Lisanna trusting Lucy to be able to escape. But when she is unable to, the mage takes her leaving a broken- hearted Natsu behind.

When Lucy and Natsu go on a quest together something goes wrong. Lucy gets changed into a tiny child and wonders off into the forest when Natsu is unconscious from a powerful blow from the attacker. A Sabertooth guild member finds the child and realises that little Lucy remembers nothing of her adulthood. When the smoke was finally gone - my eyes got widen when I saw the demons lying on the ground - not moving or anything. But what really caught my attention is the blonde girl standing in front of me. My both hands are on the ground and I was looking up to her face. Her eyes are looking on me directly which makes my heart beat fast. Before I can even an utter words I finally, truly saw her. The clouds moved at just the right moment, fully lighting her face by the moon. As if it weren't enough that she was willing to stand up to me and clearly unafraid to be herself, she was dazzlingly beautiful.
