In the space left behind by the dragon slayer, the light shifts and suddenly Gray stands where she never expected him to be. But team nastu is sent on a mission to hollow creek, a town cloaked in mystery and a fog that curls through its streets. The mist twists sound, bends emotions and the deeper Lucy walks into its mist, the more she senses something inside her pulling in a new direction. Is the light she sees through Gray's ice a distortion born from heartbreak or the first time she's seeing him clearly? In a place where the fog can make things feel uncertain, Lucy must decide which direction to follow the fire she once trusted, or the refraction that's leading her somewhere new.

Lucy Heartfilia is tired of being the weaker link in her group. Although Natsu Dragneel is her love, she trains with one of her partners, Gray Fullbuster. They didn't really know what that meant, but since it was their job, they had to do it. What you started, is what you finish. As they search for the treasure, they can't find any clues on how to find it, except for the word 'future'. So they started to spread out to have a better chance finding it. But something unexpected happened. A bright light flashed in the middle of the forest and covered everything up. Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, and Happy then all ran towards the light and find what caused it. But only 3 of them made it. "What happened to Popsicle Breath and Lucy?" Natsu asked. With Lucy and Gray "What happened? Where are we?" Lucy asked running into Gray after they bumped into each other. "I think we're in a cemetery," Gray responded helping Lucy up. "Mom! Dad!" they both heard from afar...
