The crew sails to Elbaf, where the giants send them to the Elder of Memory. The Elder reveals that Luffy's emotions weren't erased - they were sealed behind an ancient wall. To break the curse, Luffy must experience a powerful emotional shock strong enough to pierce the barrier. If he doesn't feel anything before the next full moon... he will stay emotionless forever.
