Do you guys seriously need a description? Alright. Princess Annabeth grew up in her home city of Athens, a powerful and important part of Greece. Her parents, King Frederick and Queen Helen received an invitation from a neighboring country called Hesperia for Annabeth. They invited her to an engagement ceremony for Prince Perseus and Princess Calypso, since they are eligible to marry starting from the age of 14. However, a terrible incident happened and Princess Calypso's half-sister, Zoë, was murdered and the engagement was cancelled. Annabeth was on the case immediately and tried to find out who the murderer was, and her only suspect was Prince Perseus. Percy tried his hardest on being innocent. He was innocent, of course, but how could he convince Annabeth that he wasn't the culprit? He and Annabeth used to be best friends when they were younger, but the War of Rome started, and she was distant from him ever since. The prince struggled to reach out to his former best friend, but she insisted on shunning him, making him more miserable than ever. What did he do wrong? Best friends became bitter enemies. Bad things don't always come from the dark... I do not own any of these characters. All rights go to Rick Riordan.

Traitor. That's what Percy is. The war with the Titans seemed to be over, Luke rejoined the side of the gods after Annabeth convinced him, but then Percy joins Kronos and captures Olympus. So don't you dare victimized yourself in front of me ever again!" she warned him, tears freely flowing down her face now. ****** Just a sneek-peak into one of the most intense scenes we missed in the books, when Luke meets Annabeth under the flag of truce. I'm pretty sure you'll find the rest of the book just as intense and heart-breaking as this one. The scene is set just before the camp commences in the summer the Battle of the Labyrinth took place. Stays true to the book as much as possible, with a lot of added details. First story among a series of short stories named 'Beyond the Books' , but can be read as a standalone. ***** Currently on hold, but I'll continue updating this as soon as 'In Good Hands...', the second book in this series is complete.
