Eleven and Kali aren't the only two that Hawkins Lab experimented on. They aren't even the only project. Seven is part of that same project. She was there when Eleven opened the gate. And she helped her do it so that Eleven could escape. Like Kali has different powers from Eleven, Seven has different powers from them both. She is the labs star pupil. They accidentally knocked over some chemicals while she was around and not wearing any protection and the gas created by the chemicals mixing had a long lasting affect on her powers. She went from being a simple amplifier, to gaining the powers of any kid she came into contact with. Because of this, she was put into isolation away from the other kids, only to come into contact with one when they aloud it. When she gets Ten's powers and sees what Eleven is facing, she knows she has to get out. She has to help her best friend. Her sister. She has to help the most important person in her life. She had to kill the thing. She had to get that kid out of The Upside Down. She had get out, and tell Eleven the truth of what happened that day. I obviously don't own Stranger Things or the characters from Stranger Things. That honor goes to the creators
