Luka customizes a guitar for a client who's only in town for a few days. They want to pick it up at 5:30 AM before they have to leave Paris. Luka agrees to this arrangement but regrets it the next morning when he has to wake up at 5 AM and his husband is tempting him to just stay in bed. It's New Years Eve, Chat Noir and Viperion are on patrol. When they meetup just before midnight, Viperion asks about Chat Noir's New Years Resolutions. Little does Luka know, what Adrien wants the most is to confess to him.

Viperion and Chat Noir share an impulsive kiss after a battle. Viperion admits that his heart is torn between two people and he's not sure what to do. Chat Noir noticed the shift with his connection with Ladybug. She became the Guardian, things were complicated, and they grew apart. He accepted that and sincerely wanted the best for her, despite things not working out the way he'd originally hoped. His feelings for her faded slowly like the sunset, marking the end of a chapter. But eventually the sun would rise again, as his heart allowed him to fall in love with someone new.
