BOOK THREE

Grayson and Cait are parents. Luke and Rae aren't. At least not yet. Connor is navigating his senior year of high school. Justin and Jackie have to face their families. And The Brotherhood. Who survives? And how? Tune in. This book will likely not be a cohesive story, but more a series of vignettes. Just moments and events, more along the line of Shorts, but without the alternate universe stuff. Although lots will be Grayson and Cait handling parenthood, Luke and Rae are going to get some burn too. And so will other characters. Even though the first story picks up after Ever the Same, it will not be sequential, but will skip around. There might even be some flashbacks. The usual disclaimers apply. It's all complete and utter fiction. I know only what google tells me. They're still gonna swear and touch each other. Some things never change. Updates might be . . . sporadic. Who the hell knows. I just write when they talk. But this is definitely the last book. Definitely. I think.

This book is a bit of a spin off from I'll Find You. If you haven't read that story, you should and not only because this one won't make sense. I've been told it's not half bad. Ever wonder would have happened if Grayson hadn't gone to Ireland after Cait left? Well, apparently so did someone's subconscious. This short little story explores what could have transpired and whether and how Grayson and Cait would have found their way back to one another. The last chapter also contains some hints about the future ahead for those two. And if things seem a little off factually, well, the reasons will hopefully be clear when you get to the end. The usual disclaimers apply to this. It is a work of utter and complete fiction (double fiction really, since it's fiction on top of fiction, if that makes sense). Also, much of this story takes place in the future so there will be little to no effort to tie in actual events. Not a doctor, nor do I otherwise claim any other particular expertise. There will be profanity (Cait has not mended her ways) and it will be suggestive. And there will probably be points in this story when you don't like either of the main characters very much. They'll redeem themselves. I promise.

For those of you that requested it, this is the spin off from Still that answers the question about what could have happened if Luke went to Hawaii instead of Grayson. This story is dedicated to two of my most faithful readers, BlueDevils3, who had the idea and lillianwilson13 who seconded it. Luke Kennard was just drafted in the first round of the NBA draft. He's finally achieved his dreams. And he's got more girls than he can handle. But what if the one girl he doesn't have is the one he really needs. Grayson Allen is struggling. He's headed back to Duke. His girlfriend and his best friend have left him. And he's not interested in snapping out of his funk quite yet. He never makes things easy for himself and he's about to demonstrate that fact. Cait Callahan is hard at work training for the Olympics. But her boyfriend is flaking out on her and their relationship seems to be hitting the skids. She makes one last ditch effort to save it, but things don't work out at all the way she planned.

Game over. I lose.

Marley Sinclair was excited to leave the past few years back in Seattle. Glad to leave her ex-best friend Kira, who got together with Marley's love of her life, Jackson. Glad to leave her old, ruined soccer career. And mostly, glad to leave her mom's memories behind. Durham was her new home. She couldn't wait to reconnect with her cousin Quinn, who attended Duke University on a volleyball scholarship. After Kira and Jackson, Quinn was all Marley needed. Until she meets the rudest, sweetest, most annoying, yet loving boy ever. They first learn to hate each other, but soon learn to love. People watch. But no one can stop their rough love.

Duke basketball star Grayson Allen and Olympic champion Caitlin Callahan are too much alike. They're intelligent, driven and fiery. They've enjoyed success. They've both been on the wrong side of public opinion. He's trying to rebuild his image. She's trying to rebuild her career. They're race cars without breaks. And they're on a collision course. Disclaimer - I do not know any of the real individuals portrayed in this story. Just a fan. A/N - This story takes place during the 2016-2017 season, and it is completely written. So, if anyone actually reads it, the updates will be pretty quick. Although some actual events are portrayed, it is a work of fiction (duh), so you will have to suspend reality in some circumstances. Also, I don't really care how old you are, but please be aware that this story contains profanity. Cait, in particular, curses a lot. I don't condone it, but she doesn't seem to care. And although it is not explicit, it is certainly very suggestive. There is also a storyline involving some stalking type behavior, so if you are triggered by that type of thing, you have been forewarned. Each chapter has a song title. My taste in music is somewhat eclectic. In some cases, the song inspired the chapter, but in others the song was found to fit the chapter. Enjoy!

Harley Scheyer is a medical major at Duke university on a volleyball and softball scholarship. Between the work loads at Duke and the constant need to improve she doesn't think she has time to catch feelings. The three had been inseparable ever since they met through Harley's older brother Jon. Harley was close with all the basketball players but these 2 were special to her. When a certain 2 catch feelings will it tear their friendship apart? Or will it bring them all closer, making them unstoppable.
