Thirteen-year-old Evelyn "Evie" Bennett has spent years watching horror movies with her childhood best friend, Luke Lerner. She knows when to expect a jump scare, when a character is making a terrible mistake, and exactly how she would change the ending. Spending a December evening at his house should be nothing new, especially with her older sister, Ashley, there to babysit. Her biggest worry is hiding the fact that her feelings for Luke have started to change. But when someone begins threatening the house, their familiar evening turns into a desperate struggle to stay safe. With the Lerners away and help out of reach, Evie, Ashley, and Luke find themselves facing a danger they don't understand. As attempts to protect themselves go wrong, Evie must push through her fear and find a way to keep the people she loves alive. Outside, the neighborhood glows with Christmas lights. Last year was a crazy experience, a 16 year old named Ashley went through a hell of a night. Although this year she has been asked to baby sit again. Will the same thing happen? Will she experience the same fear and struggle? Just maybe it will all be ok. (Spoiler Alert) This is a fan made sequel to the Christmas horror movie Better Watch Out written by Zack Kahn. Ashley is coming over to watch Luke Lerner for two days and this will be the last time. Everything starts out great but things take a dark turn after watching a horror movie. (Luke and Garrett are 14 now and Ashley is still 17 or 18 IDK how old she was) I will add in and take out some lines.
