Maria Jackson recently moved to 36 Bannerman Road after her parents divorce. She lives with her father and across the road from the supposed 'Mad Woman'. When the Doctor leaves his beloved daughter Callie on Earth with Sarah Jane, Luke and the rest of the Bannerman Road gang, she quickly falls into step with the routine, get up, save the world, go to school, save the world, and repeat. What she doesn't expect is after a few years, to get a blue envelope with just a location, a date and a time, and to meet a curly haired blonde woman who right away she feels an unexplainable connection to. Callie can control the colours and sounds of the universe, but the universe doesn't always want to be controlled, and it fights back in the most painful way possible.

Mrs Wormwood defined Luke as the perfect human. Luke's not entirely sure what her definition stands for, and all knowledge of it's true meaning dies with her, and he dwells maybe a little too long on what could be.
