Ok so this is a type of Percy Jackson story. I'm not good at descriptions so here goes. There's a really rare disease in the world. Normally if you're born with it you die at birth. Percy had this disease. You're lungs aren't fully developed and no matter what they stay underdeveloped, you could get a lung transplant and your new lungs would slowly deteriorate. What happens is that your lungs fill with the blood around your lung. Basically you drown/suffocate in your own blood.
