So I've realized I really like AUs, as the Cleradin Merlin fanfic has proven, so here as many of you have encouraged, is the Modern AU for my beloved HenderHop (Jane/El Hopper + Dustin Henderson). I personally think the story itself (To All The Boys I Loved Before), holds a very similar dynamic, so anyways I hope you enjoy this fanfic, and trust I will be learning to use AO3, but Wattpad is the easiest I find writing in.

The upside down left in 1987, but what if I tell you it's back with a new generation of kids. Jade and Claire are both Wheelers, but they are polar opposites. Jade likes the colour black and metal music, Claire likes the colour pink and school. The only thing they share is a house and the same dad... (This is a completely made-up story of a spin-off of Stranger Things set in the early 2000s, with new characters but the same parents.)

So he puts it under lock and key, scared to show vulnerability or come off as needy. He would rather not be taken for weak. But when the two are forced to enter the closet-sized room together, sober but fueled by alcohol, feelings and actions spill out. Will begrudgingly comes to realize that he can't get rid of Mike Wheeler. Not even by force.

Like sadness and anger never leave him, always lingering in the back of his mind? The one person he can count on, suddenly disappears and now Mike can't figure out how to regulate himself anymore. This is a rewrite of stranger things because many were not happy with the finale (understandable) Most things in the earlier seasons will stay the same, but I am thinking of changing almost all of the lasts (especially s5).
