When quiet outcast Max Mayfield and basketball point guard Lucas Sinclair are paired up for a semester-long English project, as they slowly break through each other's walls.

This takes place in a modern setting AU and the title might change at some point sorry 😅 Max is a mysterious young woman who's starting her sophomore year at NYU and is majoring in psychology. People who don't know her thinks that she's just a quiet and sarcastic who's always skating around or sketching. But behind did well build walls hide someone way more complicated and whose past haunts her. Lucas is a very smart young man who's also starting his sophomore year at NYU with a major in engineering. He's considered a very nice person who could get along with anybody. They both think that they will never find the right person. That is until El, who's friend with both of them, asks Max to seat with their friends at the school cafeteria.

I decided to rewrite Henderhop and Byler into the original script of Stranger Things. Cover art is not mine, credits to the artist(whoever that may be).

A Byler story where Will asks Mike to pretend to be his boyfriend to get his friends to stop bothering him about being single but little did Will and Mike know their fake relationship was going to turn into an actual relationship when they both fall in love with each other through finding common interests and unique personalities. This is going to be an acquaintance to friends to lovers kind of story and what I mean by acquaintance is Mike and will have briefly met through the fact max and lucas are dating and Dustin and Jane are dating but they aren't really friends and they don't really know each other in the beginning but they have briefly heard stuff about each other and briefly met but maybe mid story towards the end they become friends to fake lovers to eventually real lovers. Everyone in the party goes to NYU. the established relationships for this story are : { Byler obvi, Lumax, and Henderhop } btw none of the lab or vecna/ upside down stuff happened in this story and both Mike and Will are both out to their friends as gay/ bisexual well maybe I might just have Mike be gay instead of bi sorry! .and I will try and write as often as possible but I can't promise I will post often. ~ cover art creds to the original artist { I got it from Pinterest }

This is going to be my "prediction" or fanfic on what Max's character is going to be like or go through in Season 4. i wanted to do this because I have so many ideas of what might happen. I hope they give her a good storyline and development because S3 for not just her, but for most of the characters character development wasn't as good. I still loved s3 tho. I hope they don't ignore the her home life because out of all the characters Max has her own story alone. She moved to Hawkins with her brother and that it's own story alone because of the abuse, then when she got involved in everything else. So, yea let me stop rambling. Theses scenes only have Max in it so don't expect every character to be in it.

Although El lived in California and Will lived in Hawkins, they have always had a sibling-type of relationship since Joyce and Hopper have been extremely close ever since their school days. El also got along extremely well with Will's friends, the party and they were her best friends. One day, Joyce and Hopper get married and El moves permanently into Hawkins. Upon entering the school, she is surprisingly taken under the wing of the popular girl, Stacey Albright. Due to her anxiety and her want for new friends, she becomes friends with her unfortunately leaving the party and Mike Wheeler. After two years, El and the party reconcile, everybody except Mike. Is there something deeper in the story that El failed to understand? Read to find out!
