This is during season 5, in filling in the blanks Of what didn't happen. Who we didn't get a reunion with (Dustin, El, Etc) and just things I imagine happening. I'm gonna write the stuff that happened in the show, just saying what I think their internal dialogue would be saying. First two chapters made before the finale. Mike and his friends have been facing VECNA for the longest time. He's tired however, Mike notices something one day. Mike thought he was crazy but experiments proved him wrong. Now Mike has something of his own he needs to train. This takes place after Eddie dies but before S5 starts.

In which Mike and Will have a bad fight just before Will is about to move to New York, they both move on with their lives and come face to face with each other years later in a Hawkins get together where both don't expect each other to show up but Will shows up, with a brand new picture perfect boyfriend and Mike shows up with his new girlfriend Carla. A bunch of heated moments and a game of 7 minutes in heaven bring the two together to come face to face with many feelings and realities they had tried to bury and ignore. Their friendship isn't the same anymore. Will Byers: Everything is wrong in his life. Bad dad, mom who struggles, odd brother. Even he himself is wrong. He is weird, a nerd, bullied. Called queer. There has been only one constant good in his life. His best friend, Mike. Even that gets taken though, when Will gets dragged into the Upside Down. After that, nothing is the same. Mike Wheeler: Another weirdo, nerd, frog face. Except his family seems perfect, parents are together, he has two sisters. He even has friends. But why is he always feeling so bad? Trapped? Like sadness and anger never leave him, always lingering in the back of his mind? The one person he can count on, suddenly disappears and now Mike can't figure out how to regulate himself anymore. And now that Will is back, he is getting worse. Byler endgame but there is also mileven since they do date in the show. This is a rewrite of stranger things because many were not happy with the finale (understandable) Most things in the earlier seasons will stay the same, but I am thinking of changing almost all of the lasts (especially s5). When Mike arrives back in Hawkins nearly 10 years later, Will doesn't recognize him. This story is about Will finding out who he is and why he left.

As they hide from a town that would now hunts them they must track down the source of the curse the group must race against time to reverse the transformation before it becomes permanent.
