Lucia Noceda and Amelia Blight are polar opposites. When they first meet, Lucia takes a quick and very much public dislike towards Amelia. So when their mentor groups them up for a special project in class, they're less than thrilled. But things slowly change between them... Will they realize their budding feelings before it's too late? Lucia and Amelia's first encounter started off on the wrong foot. When they first met, it was while Lucia was caught in a rainstorm. Lucia tried to chat with Amelia since she was the only person outside at the moment but Amelia was rude and told Lucia to stay away, leaving a lasting impression on her. The next day, Lucia was surprised when she found out that Amelia worked at the same place as her, reigniting their animosity. But as they interacted more, something started to change between them. The tension in them slowly transformed into a different kind of energy... This is a remake from my first story: "Strange Love"! :D Enjoy this fanfic, or not. Four years had passed since the death of Manny Noceda. Their mom, Camila, was struggling to get by, never home and constantly in and out of the hospital taking up shifts, the youngest daughter, Luz, was barely ever able to keep out of trouble at school and struggled to fit in, and the oldest, Lucía, was in constant arguments with her mom until she finally packed up all of her things in the night and ran away from home six months ago. The only thing left behind was a letter with the words "I'm making this house worse and worse" written in it. Now, Luz attending a "Reality Check Summer Camp" was supposed to make everything better, everything normal. But after running off that bus to camp to chase after her one prized possession, her Good Witch Azura book, one thing led to another and now she had ended up in some old, isolated, and hidden town named the "Boiling Isles." Everything had changed since the death of their papá. Balancing guilt, trying to conform, broken relationships, and more, it felt impossible. There were lies, secrets, and entire lives hidden from one another, and it was only a matter of time before something or someone finally unraveled it all. But Luz, who was left alone, had no other choice but to be independent and try to feed herself in a world like this. At daytime, she hunts down animals for food in the forest. At nighttime is when the vampires go mayhem. What could be the possible cause of these inhuman breeds? After years of suffering, Luz finally got the strength to fight these vampires; she killed them one by one and eventually got used to it. She became a hunter herself.
