In a world where light and darkness wage an endless war, ordinary humans known as Terrans live without magic-depending only on the sun, the moon, and candlelight to survive. Eight years after the night her mother disappeared, a young girl named Elara grows up with her father, Jake, amid fear and tales of the shadow creatures. But her life changes when she discovers a hidden wooden cottage deep within the forest-a place filled with glowing flowers and mysterious potions capable of driving away the shadows. There she meets Daisy, a mysterious woman who holds the secret to Elara's past, her mother's fate, and the truth behind the war between light and darkness. As the next year's turning night approaches, Elara must face her destiny: to remain a helpless Terran beneath the moon's reflection-or to awaken the light within her that could either save or destroy all humankind.
