In a world that all goes wrong when Luz leaves, Amity barely holds on with a single promise she made to Luz. Finally, after waiting years, Luz comes back, but she's different now. Will Amity be able to stay with Luz, or will she walk away?

"Make sure to check in with the new recruit member Blight." My supervisor, Lilith says. "Yes ma'am." I say in response. ----------------------- "So you are, Ms.Noceda?" "Yup! The one and only, you can just call me Luz though." I earn in response with a big smile. She has this new style to her that fits her so well. Their short hair is also very nice. "So how's the new Manga Panel going, Luz?" (HELLO, so I got this idea from Rezmei Seno on YouTube. Also got the book cover from them. Instead of Luz and Amity already being friends. I made them both humans and Luz decides to work at the same company amity works at. So there complete strangers from the beginning. So I was inspired by Rezmei Seno to make this but decided not to copy the whole idea if they were to make their story.)

No childhood, no family, no friends. After a rather rough childhood of being a foster child and being moved around the whole country, Luz reaches a new family, a new city, everything looks like she can start fresh. But neither her new mom Eda, nor the little town in the midwest seems to be just ordinary and as her past mistakes slowly grasp at her, as the world around begins to let down its masquerade, she can't longer outrun her past.

What if Eda never came back from the Human Realm as she hid from her mother? What if she started a new life there and settled down later? God, Amity would kill for a new life like that. To start fresh. Get away from the hell of a life in the Boiling Isles. So, what does she do? Try exactly that. Seems like the most reckless plan she's ever though of, but what has being sensible brought to her? Only pain. Get the Titan's blood during her next mission, sneak out and make the portal. Seems simple right? [a/n yall this is another barely planned out fanfic again!!1!!1!1! Wooooo The idea for Eda staying in the Human Realm was thought of by my friend so credits to them (they allowed me to use it in fanfic writing) and the rest is me mostly improving.
