Before Luz left, an oath was made. An oath that made sure that Luz would come back soon and see Amity and everyone else. "Remember to come back and visit if not stay" , Amity said drawing a circle around their hands " But-" ,Luz tried to argue helplessly. " No Luz. No buts or anything. We can't go around breaking oaths. We don't know what would happen" ,Amity responded with a soft smile. The two girls looked each other in that eye as they started to cry. Than Amity gave a tight hug. One that was most certainly not their last, at least not until they were to meet again. .....That was 3 years ago.....

Luz is forced to leave the Boiling Isles, leaving her friends, family, and magic, behind. After four years of being gone and living life in the human realm, Luz is bewildered when suddenly a palisman shows up at her front doorstep. Hurt and confused after just coming out of a relationship, Luz doesn't hesitate to pack her bags and set off to the demon realm to find answers. Four years can change a lot about a person, and when Luz returns to the Boiling Isles, she sees her old friends are not the same as they once were, especially her old crush, Amity. When the Noceda Sisters come to the north pole, they start off wanting to bring their mother home for Christmas. In the Boiling Isles, Were-creatures co-exist with witches, but they're not particularly popular among the emperor and his subjects. Let me ask you: How bad would it look on the Blight's perfect family name if one of them was a werecat? Let's just say Odalia is intent on keeping her daughter's "disease" a secret and isn't afraid to take extreme measures to do so. Luckily, Amity will always have her friends by her side. ---------------------------------------------------- THINGS ABOUT THE STORY: This is a canon divergent AU starting after "Yesterday's Lie" in season 2 with the added information that Amity is a werecat. EXPECT TO SEE: Fluff, Angst, NO SMUT WHATSOEVER THANK YOU, Happy Ending, Lumity (obviously), and probably bad writing.. idk. WARNING: There is angst, so expect to see: Abuse, Trauma, PTSD, Gore and more. Any chapter with these included will have warnings at the beginning as well as individual divisions when approaching specific scenes with angst. If you are not comfortable with these topics, I do not recommend reading. As said before, there is fluff. Lumity is the ONLY ship in this, so I'm sorry if you wanted any others.. Also expect longer scenes as I'm quite long-winded and prefer more detail over time passing. ---------------------------------------------------- LAST NOTE: I wanted to quickly mention that this is my first fanfic, or story for that matter- Unless you wanna count the 80 page jungle book rip-off I wrote as an 7-year-old. *anyway* I also went into this without a particular plan so let's just hope the story progression isn't too wonky.. This is probably trash so don't judge me <': I can't wait to look back on this when I'm older and cringe incredibly hard.. (Hello future self!!)
