This story is about two best friends, a spunky sugarbomb and a girl too modest to admit she's the most popular girl in her school. Then everything starts to change when a popular boy asks her out and a strange new girl comes to her school...

This is the prequel to the Darkside Earther trilogy. It's just a little taste of war in a virtual setting, spawned by the pretext of love. Sound like an old story? It is! But then add a mountain of worldbuilding to it, crazy tech, throw in a mass of scary politics, species-ending drama, space-battles, intelligent jungles, twisted matter, AIs, and pervasive nanotech... and then maybe the story isn't so old. :) Let's get a-hacking! :)
