hey everybody and welcome to the story of my life, my name is Hannah, I'm almost 16 years old and as you all saw I "suffer" from CF. I know that there are a lot out there that are sharing my story of living life with a rare lung disease. I think therefore I decided to write this book. To show you how beautiful life can be although it may be harder or just different. So let's start talking about the problems of CF but also about living a life that is as pure, as precious and as unique as all the others. Let's start talking about a life that can be controlled by pain or despair, but also about a life that can be full of energy, courage and joy. P.S.: English is not my first language so I would be glad if you guys could accept my spelling or language mistakes. I'm writing to express my feelings and share my story and not to have good grammar or good language.. I hope you can understand that and I hope that my English will improve over time :) - The book cover is made with the App "Canva"

Reiko Hisakawa just might be the only detective in New York that has mastered both sleuthing and spell-casting, and all of this despite being a chronically ill teenager. But her life gets even more complicated when her best friend, the headmistress of the exclusive North American University of Sorcery, drops dead one day. The new headmaster turns out to be a novice who's in way over his head, and now Reiko, guided only by her wit and an odd set of diaries bequeathed to her by her late friend, has to work with her new "apprentice" to solve New York City's mystical mysteries.

For six months, Noah and Elise are nothing more than neighbors living across the hall, exchanging silent glances during the brief moment his night shift ends and her workday begins. Their quiet routine slowly blossoms into a love built not on grand confessions, but on small acts of devotion-shared groceries, repaired doors, handwritten notes, and the comfort of simply staying when words fail. As illness gradually steals Elise away, Noah becomes her unwavering caregiver, proving that love often looks like ordinary choices repeated every day. After her death, he faithfully waters the fern she once cared for every Thursday morning, keeping a promise no one else knows exists. The Window Across the Hall is a poignant story about finding extraordinary love in an ordinary life, and how the deepest romances are measured not by how loudly they are spoken, but by how long they continue after goodbye.
