Through several ties, calls, and favors, Robert Cobble has scored a job with the International Policeman Looker. Sent to investigate the artificial island Aether Paradise, he meets the mysterious Aether President, Lusamine. When the times get tough, and emotions of extrication are conflicted with retribution, Cobble is thrown into depths that not even he might be able to escape from.
