It is 2 and a half years after Gregor and Lizzie have returned from the underland, but their family is still in New York City. Dreams of giant rats and falling to his death still bothers Gregor from time to time, and he isn't improving as a student of the overland. One day, he receives word of a mysterious new prophecy concerning him, which predicts certain doom if certain measures are not taken. Unfortunate events prevents Gregor from going to Virginia and he ends up staying back in New York but with little knowledge of whats happening below New York. As Gregor goes back to the underland he finds that he doesn't remember anyone save one girl named Luxa. How will Gregor cope with no memory of his friends in the Underland and with the Prophecy of Peace upon them.

Gregor the Overlander is living a normal life in Virginia when he gets a desperate message from Regalia. Apparently, his time in the Underland is far from over...

After being miserable for 6 years in the Overland, Gregor finally convinces his mom to let him go back. But once he goes back to his home, his one and only true love, Luxa, and all his real friends, he realizes the Underland still needs the Warrior. Yes, you can TECHNICALLY read this without reading the original Underland Chronicles by Suzanne Collins, but it would make absolutely NO SENSE and I higly recommend reading those because they are AMAZING!!!

After 7 years of being away from the Underland, Gregor can't help the urge to go visit, and he finds something far more sinister, than anything he has EVER faced.

After receiving a letter from a music school in New York, Gregor decides it's finally time to go back and visit his friends underground. But when trouble arises, will this turn out to have been the best decision? Based on "The Underland Chronicles" by Suzanne Collins, join an adventure with Gregor, Luxa, and many new characters six years after "Gregor and the Code of the Claw".

This follows the main plot line and other than ages, isn't very different. Later books will have more changes, but this one only has small ones. The next few books will be done soon.

Suffering from trauma as his former life as the Warrior, Gregor finds himself amongst family, friends, and dangerous enemies that want him to continue his legendary role, just so they can kill him the way they claim to forsee.
